Autonomy of syntax highlighter

While I was working on my previous blog post, I realised that I do not have a syntax highlighter installed in my WordPress blog yet. So without any delay, I went to Plugin Directory and pick up the first choice that got my attention: WP-Syntax. Hmm… sounds so familiar.WP-Syntax installed without fuss and ease to use with no learning curve, I was glad for my choice for a while until I made few edits to my post and found out my javascript has been truncated to nothing! I jumped up because 2 things shocked me: 1. How can it do this to me and my code; 2. I’ve been here before. this exact plugin did this to me on my last blog!

I pitted myself for been the victim of foes.

At the date of this post, I am still using WP-Syntax and negated to update my previous post until I find a replacement. Suggestions are welcome, and I might end up writing a review on current choices as a punishment to myself.
