Wild Shot #11: Still as Silk
Written on July 18, 2011 at 7:00 pm, by Travis
This is one of my favorite landscape photo taken from this year’s trip to China. This is short exposure shot so you can imagine how calm the atmosphere are. Originally taken 3 exposures for HDR processing, unfortunately the generated ghosting on the water surface was undesirable. I end up tone mapped one with shorter exposure, which Continue Reading »

Wild Shot #10: Overflown
Written on July 11, 2011 at 8:00 pm, by Travis
Another oldie where I took a walk over the suburb I used to live in. Although shot is far from good as it is over exposed and framing can be more interesting. However I love the simple colour in the picture and the high contrast which was brought out by sharpening the cloud is include blue. Summary One random, Continue Reading »
Changelog: Upgrade WordPress 3.1.4 to 3.2
Written on July 8, 2011 at 5:04 pm, by Travis
Less than a week from release of 3.1.4, WordPress decide to mark it’s next milestone on the Independence Day of America. And instead of calling 3.2 version 3.0 (where 3.0, 3.1 should be 2.10, 2.11 respectively), this will be the most important WordPress upgrade to-date. DSLR Camera Lens Database
Written on July 1, 2011 at 6:13 pm, by Travis
Inspired by some awesome hard work by PhotoSynthesis and Taggart Gorman’s iPhone apps putting lens information together, I have also been keeping track on lens I interested in with Google Docs. Now I believe it is a good time to make it public accessible with everyone who may be interested. Reason for porting data from other Continue Reading »
